Installation Steps:

Please follow these steps to
install eTDS Ver 1.0 software
(i) The System Partition of the Operating
System should be in C:\only.
(ii)Make the Regional Settings for the Date as
dd/mm/yyyy inthe short
date format.
Step 1:
(i) Create a folder
named OBCETDS under C: drive
(ii) Go to the OBCETDS directiroy by typing in
the command as follows
c:\>cd OBCETDS
(iii)Insert the "Installation
Diskette" into your floppy drive and copy the
contents of the floppy by
typing in the command as follows:
c:\>OBCETDS>COPY
A:\*.*<Enter>
(iv) This procedure installs the necessary files on your
disk under OBCETDS
directory.
(v) The files contains one ARJ file &
Arj.exe file
( this file is given to extract the .Arj file ). Extract the
file
within the OBCETDS directory by typing in the command as
follows:
c:\OBCETDS>ARJ X obcinst.Arj<Enter>
Step 2:
(i) Modify your CONFIG.SYS file to incorporate the entries given
below. If
you already have the entries, modify them as follows:
FILES = 150
BUFFERS = 30
Step 3:
Modify your AUTOEXEC.BAT file to incorporate the entries given
below. if you already have the entries given below. If you already
have the entries, modify them as follows:
SET CLIPPER = F150
Step 4:
Reboot your computer, after removing all floppy diskettes from
your drive(s).
